Kootenai Valley Sportsman’s Association presents the 32nd annual Gun & Horn Show at the Boundary County Fairgrounds in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, from February 7-9. The event features Boone & Crockett Certified horn scoring and showcases a wide selection of firearms, accessories, hunting gear, and survival tools.

First Hunt Foundation is super excited to recognize our 1,000th mentor. Sam Frost from Medford, Wisconsin gets that honor and we awarded her a Kings Camo jacket embroidered with her name and “1,000th MENTOR” on it.

The First Hunt Foundation is excited to announce that we have a new National Program, Forgotten Rites. Forgotten Rites will be focused on diversity and inclusion and led by our National Director, Ray Livingston. Ray's goal is to reconnect individuals in underrepresented communities with their past hunting traditions.

FHF kicked off its new program called, "Share the HERitage" in February. This program is a targeted mentor and mentee recruiting effort geared towards women and girls. It is a national program lead by Director Anne Beihoffer. Learn more under "Our Programs" on this site.
The First Hunt Foundation is a National non-profit 501(c)(3), with the mission to “Keep the Hunting Heritage Alive.” We have mentors throughout the United States that have selflessly volunteered their time to support this mission. Every mentor passes a vigorous background check and agrees to the ‘Mentor’s Creed’, to participate in our programs.
